pinks, corals, oranges, greens. it is kind of crazy looking. I switched to more solids halfway through to try to tame it down but it still is loud. I like loud though. I just worry with loud for gifts sometimes.
the colors are inspired by the backing fabric, a vintage floral print that I have had in my stash long enough to forget where I found it in the first place.
quilted as stitch-in-the-ditch, which I rarely do, but it allowed me to skip deliberations about what color thread to use on a colorful contrasting top.
stripy binding! because it is awesome (even though it is loud) and because the colors match perfectly.
